This art was created as a representation of the war we rage within ourselves. The ugly truths that we don't want to face. The aesthetics of the piece tells the story of how we cover up our shame and act like they aren't seen until someone gets close enough to read between the lines. Instead, we need to resist these principalities by openly speaking about the ugliness within, laying them bare for all to see and robbing them of their influence over our lives.
